Ethiopia Sidamo is one of the main and popular varieties of coffee. It is distinguished from another similar variety – Ethiopia Yirgacheff – by sweeter notes of tropical fruits in its taste. Sidamo is a large area in the fertile highlands of the Rift Valley. In 2004, the Ethiopian government registered Sidamo as a trademark to promote coffee from the region. Sidamo is one of the leading coffee regions in the country. The height of the trees reaches 1500-2000 meters above sea level. Has no bitterness.
