Description

This coffee is grown in the Tarrazu region – one of the most famous and most produced regions – where 35% of all Costa Rican coffee is grown. The mineral-rich volcanic soil, altitude, and the perfect combination of sunlight, temperature and precipitation provide the necessary ingredients to produce exceptional coffee. Coffee plantations occupy an average of about 20 hectares of land, located on the slopes of mountains and in small valleys – from 1,300 to 1,600 meters above sea level. Coffee in Costa Rica is classified by height. Height affects the density of the beans and density affects the quality of taste. So the denser the beans – the better. You can better get all the notes of coffee in an alternative way of brewing.
