Cascara

10,00

Cascara is the dried husk of the coffee bean that remains after the beans are removed for roasting. Despite its coffee origins, the drink made from cascara is more like a fruit tea.

How to brew:

  • 6–10 g of cascara per 200 ml of water
  • Temperature: 90–95°C
  • Brewing time: 4–5 minutes
  • Can be drunk hot or chilled

Cascara can also be used to make cold tea, syrups, lemonade, and signature drinks.

Benefits and sustainability:

  • Rich in antioxidants and vitamins
  • Supports the immune system
  • Environmentally friendly — it is a second use of coffee beans
